The 6th round of the series was held on the new track called RC royal. The track was super nice and flowing with a very long straight and nice jumps. The traction was high when the track was dry.
The day before the race I came with my friend / mechanic to the track so we could prepare and find a good setup. The problem all day was that the track was never getting dry so it was hard to get a good feeling but we found some good rain setup for the cars which we could use in case of rain during the race day.

In 4WD my car was pretty good in the rain. Also the battery I got before the first qualy felt good.
The 1st round of qualifications I won with 5 second in front of Jesper. The 2nd round Frederik made no mistakes and finished 1st. I finished 2nd but I made the fastest lap times so I knew my car was very fast. Last round I could not find the rhythm and also brakes on the electronic was messing with me so I changed the engine for the finals. Frederik Hovgaard TQed on the home track in front of me and Jan Larsen 3rd.

The first final the track was still dry and I made a lot of pressure on Frederik from the start and in the 7th lap Hovgaard made the mistake and was on the roof after the chicane. I took the lead and took it easy to take the win without any mistakes. Frederik finished 2nd and Kim Nielsen 3rd.
The second main a lot of hard rain arrived. I changed to rain tires but I left the roll bars on the car because the traction was still good. With roll bars on I lost a lot of steering which allowed Frederik to win this round despite I chased him 4minutes. I finished 2nd. Amazing run from my young team mate Anders Aaagard who finished 3rd in this main! Great run!
In case of Frederikâ™s win I knew I should have the fastest final win from the first final but I was prepared to win also this round. Things did not go as planned as in the first corner I got hit by Jan Larsen and I was last. After 2 laps I was back again 3rd. In the 6th lap I overtook Frederik with nice inside maneuver before the table top. I was 2nd behind Jesper who was in front but at the end of the straight he was very slow because of rain tires and I unintentionally hit him. I waited and we could continue with the fight. Jesper made a mistake, so I took the lead and began to pull away as my car felt very good and fast even with the super rain setup on the dry track! I won the main with 5-6 seconds in front of Frederik and my young team mate Anders who again drove the great race without mistakes to take the 3rd place. Very good drive Anders Aagaard, well deserved first podium at 4WD nationals!

With this win I already won the 4wd Championship with one round to go. I will attend the last race to try to battle for an extra win. Iâ™m in the lead with 8 points in front of Frederik. Jesper is 2 points behind Frederik so itâ™s gonna be the last race which decides who is 2 and 3 overall!
